What is Sneak Out at Five?

Sneak Out at Five is a top-down 2D stealth game about leaving the office right at quitting time without your boss or coworkers noticing. It's 4:55 PM, five minutes until five o'clock. Grab your phone, ID badge and bag from around the office, and head for the exit when the 5:00 chime rings. If anyone stops you, you're stuck working late.

It turns the timing game of Red Light, Green Light, where you only move while nobody's looking, into an office escape. One round takes about 1–2 minutes, and it's free to play in any browser on your phone or computer.

Quick tips

• Your boss, coworkers and team lead each have a yellow cone of vision. Step into it and a “!” appears over their head while a meter fills up. When it's full, they stop you
• While your boss is busy on the computer, he faces away from you. An “Ahem” means he's about to look up
• Running is faster, but your footsteps make people nearby turn around
• The “Papers” button disguises you as a pile of papers. Nobody can spot you while you stand still
• Reach the exit before 5:00 PM and you can't leave, because it counts as leaving early. The earlier you clock out after five, the higher your rank (S to C)
